MillionTECH today announced that Web Printer Technology was awarded patent by the People's Republic of China Patent office, SIPO, with effect from May 07. The company was patented the invention of web printer with built-in graphic label design software “Web Print Designer”. It can be shared by different users in different locations. The company doesn't need to pay extra cost to purchase extra label design software.
Key features of “Web-Print Designer” are stated as follows: It can run in different platforms, it supports TCP/IP networks and allows label design, label printing applications. It can be controlled through INTERNET. This software functions remote printing. It can print barcode labels in multi-language environment depending on the operating system, and it allows high-speed continuous printing of serial numbers and data extracted from database. It features by access to the web print designer homepage. The status page will be displayed and user identity will be verified. Edit and modification of label design can be saved on 4012PW-Web Printer or local PC. All print jobs will queue in Web Print designer and users can control print jobs by Graphical User Interface (GUI). Incomplete print job email alert will be sent to the users who make the print job request for reminding them the incomplete job. It helps users to make immediate remedial actions, such as change of ribbon, etc if necessary.
