MillionTECH wins Sportshouse project of supplying them 40 sets of CASIO DT930 handheld terminal & Smartscan MP3200 Bluetooth portable printer with tailor-made system this year. This tailor-made system is for stock-transferring (between different chain stores) and warehouse stock-taking (the individual chain stores) purposes.
Sportshouse established in 1985, the company introduced different international brand names of sports products and casual wears, including Addias, Birkenstock, Converse, Nike, etc. A whole range of sports wears and products are available in chain stores. The company is one of Hong Kong's largest sportswear retail chain stores. Before the adoption of this system, stock-transferring and stock-taking are partially recorded by manual and it creates several human errors in transaction. Therefore MillionTECH suggested the company using CASIO DT930 handheld terminals and Smartscan MP3200 bluetooth portable printer for minimizing errors incurred. Eventually, Sportshouse accepted MillionTECH’s suggestion and purchased the devices from us. The reasons behind of choosing this kind of handheld terminal and portal printer are because of the reasonable price, longer battery life and faster data transmission, etc. Mr. Kelvin Lee, I.T. A built-in high-speed laser scanner is provided as standard with the latest decoder capable of reading all types of industry standard 1D bar code symbologies. Higher resolution (0.127 mm) and improved scanning distance (450 mm maximum) ensure great accuracy of bar code reading. In addition, a scan width control (laser beam swing angle control) function is included to prevent the misreading of adjacent bar codes. For “scan complete” confirmation, a large green LED, vibrator, or beep or any combination of these can be selected according to working environment. Smartscan MP3200 bluetooth portable printer is a printer with easy paper loading design, large battery packs, various communication interfaces. It is used to print stock-transferring receipts.
