Excellent connection and interface variety

The ergonomically designed DT-X7 mobile phone terminal boasts a powerful processor suitable for even the most demanding applications, 64 MB RAM and 64 MB F-ROM memory capacity and can be used in various mobile network environments. The device allows you to work with real-time information at a point of sale or warehouses though the integration of IrDA and Bluetooth® interface as standard with the terminal. An internal IEEE802.11b wireless LAN module is also available as an option, enabling reliable direct connection with a server. The DT-X7 runs under Microsoft Windows© CE© 5.0, permits integration in existing environments and offers a wide range of possibilities for wireless communication via Bluetooth® and wireless LAN.

Innovative high-speed scanner for efficient data collection

The DT-X7 is excellent in reading barcodes reliably and quickly with the implementation of a first-rate scanner combined with improved decoding algorithms. The width of the laser beam can be set individually while completed scans can be reported in any combination of LED, buzzer or vibration. The device reads all standard 1D codes such as EAN, UPC-A/E, NW-7 (CODABAR), CODE39, COD93, CODE128/EAN128, ITF, MSI, IATA and Industrial 2 of 5.

Power Management

The DT-X7 is powered via the power pack and the integrated Li-Ion battery (up to 1880 mAh depending on the model). An integrated back-up battery provides additional security for user data. The large Li-Ion battery powers the radio terminal for a full 17 hours** with a WLAN connection. The use of energy-saving components in conjunction with sophisticated power management functions help to save energy consumption and operation costs in everyday use.

Intelligent design and simple operation

The DT-X7 paves the way to easing workload and boosting efficiency. The ergonomic S-shaped design ensures convenient operation, and weighing in at just 145 grams. Its scanner keys are ergonomically arranged and the function keys are intelligently constructed using colour designations and distances. It is also stable and tough with the casing made from hard-wearing plastic, offering excellent protection against knocks and dropping. The mobile data collection device is thus perfectly suited for a tough working environment. Users in the fields of retailing, transportation and logistics in particular greatly appreciate its design.

Bluetooth® included

Bluetooth® offers innumerable possibilities for integrating modern data transfer standards in powerful industrial applications. From synchronization between DT-X7 and PC or the use of a Bluetooth® modem as access point to the global telephone network, through to completely mobile communication via GPRS networks: The integrated Bluetooth® interface makes a wide range of communication solutions possible.

QVGA display with up to 65,536 colours

The transflective LC display with 240 x 320 pixels and background illumination delivers an absolutely clear image with sharp contrasts and thus optimal readability across a wide working range. In sunlight or darkness - with this screen, which takes up 30% of the total length of the device, the DT-X7 is perfectly deployable even in the most unfavourable conditions.

Drop and splash proof to IP54

The DT-X7 with its plastic-covered casing, the DT-X7 survives drops on concrete from 1 metre which stands for absolute reliability and longevity. It also meets protection class IP54 as per IEC60529 Standard for dust and splash protection. The DT-X7 works perfectly in temperatures of -10°C to 50°C. The device is applicable for long-term operation ine tough working conditions.
