Dust/water splash proof and shock-resistance capability
IT-600 has dust/water splash proof capability that is compliant with IP54 and can operate normally in rainy day. The shock-resistance can withstand a fall from up to 1.2 meters and the longest battery life is 20 hours.

The product boasts stable operation for diverse tasks, has the latest English version of Windows®CE.NET 5.0 installed as its operating system, and comes with a built-in laser barcode scanner. For the screen, IT-600 has high resolution display and is suitable for web browsing. 3.7 inch, transflective TFT color LCD; which was developed by CASIO, and VGA (640 x 480 dots) size is used to provide a clear display indoors/ out and under sunshine.

Various ways to input data
Numeric keys can be used for character input and are located in the IT-600’s lower section. Data can be input in various ways, including scanning of 1-D and 2-D barcodes, entering of alphanumeric characters using numeric keys and via handwriting recognition on the touch screen. IT-600 can make report preparation and input for order taking on site easily. It can handle such diverse tasks as patrol inspection, route sales and inventory checking on a real-time basis.
Expandability
IT-600 series have the expandability of mini-SD slot, CF extension slot, IrDA, Bluetooth Ver.1.2, serial port and USB. IrDA and Bluetooth module allows wireless communication with note PC, compatible label printers and mobile phones. Wireless LAN module is also compatible with voice over IP (VoIP), and can be set up as a private on-site phone using a built-in microphone and speaker. Security support WEP/TKIP/MS-PEAP/EAP-TLS and CF extension slot can support RFID and GPRS cards.
Integrated digital camera with LED light
Integrated digital camera (1.0Mega pixel) is also available in IT-600M30C/CR, with LED light, macro shooting and digital strobe functions. On-the-spot photographs can be taken, report with pictures can be prepared, and images can be sent via IrDA, Bluetooth and wireless LAN.
