The Javelin J420i printer, with its robust metal enclosure, offers fast, cost-effective, and attractive card personalization making it the ideal solution for a wide range of identification needs—from magnetic stripe to contact and contactless smart card encoding. Ideal for both instant card issuance and the personalization of large card batches, the Javelin J420i is the printer of choice for everything from access control passes, visitor cards, and badges to membership and promotion cards.

The J420i has a unique flip-over feature that allows printing on both sides of the card. The 300 dpi resolution ensures exceptionally sharp print quality. Cards take around 25 seconds to print in full color on a single side, around 35 seconds to print in full color on one side and black on the other, or around four seconds for single-sided monochrome printing. And edge-to-edge printing is standard.

The useful LCD panel assists the operator by clearly describing the current status of the printer. It even provides a reminder when routine cleaning needs to be done.
